Wings Alliance use Huesca Aviation Academy as a main base for the PPL and VFR phases of their Whitetail ATPL programme. Over 100 hours of initial training is completed at Huesca and then cadets complete their advanced training with Wings Alliance member flight schools across Europe.

Huesca Aviation Academy is located at Huesca Pirineos Airport in northern Spain and is operated by Airways Aviation. Flight training is conducted on Diamond DA40 and DA42 aircraft.

Huesca Airport was initially built by the Luftwaffe in the 1930s and is now a municipal airport serving the provincial capital 10 km away in the foothills of the Pyrenees. Huesca offers an excellent weather factor combined with low operating costs and is ideal for the early stages of flight training.

Subsidiary bases are available at Wings Alliance member schools which conduct basic training, typically at Aeros Flight Training, Bartolini Air, Stapleford Flight Centre or Global Aviation.
